This solar hot water system is specially designed for household or villa‘s demand of hot water and space heating. It consists of followed parts: heat pipe solar collector or flat plate solar collector, all in one heat pump with single heat exchange coil, solar working station and expansion vessel. The sun will shine upon 5-6 solar collectors. The solar energy will be stored in one or more 80-gallon solar storage tanks. Heat for the building is provided by underfloor radiant heat, the most comfortable and efficient heat that there is. In the summer, cold water passes through the floors before it goes to the fixtures. Heat is taken out of the house for FREE!

The sun shines upon the solar collectors and warms the antifreeze solution within them. A pump comes on and circulates the antifreeze solution down to the heat exchanger within the solar storage tanks. The collected solar heat is exchanged to the water within the solar storage tanks and stored for later use.

When heating for the building space is wanted, the heating pump comes on and circulates water from the solar storage tanks, through the backup tank, and then through heating pipes within the floor. The water gives up its heat to the floor and circulates back to the storage tank. If the solar storage tank is not warm enough, the backup tank will come on and make up the difference.

Hot water comes out of the solar storage tank through the backup tank and then goes to the hot water fixtures. If the solar storage tank is not warm enough, the backup tank will come on and make up the difference.

Cold water that is used for any purpose can be routed through the tubes within the floor for cooling benefit. In that manner, whenever you wash the car, water the lawn, do laundry or shower, you will be cooling your home for free.
